As a Software Developer, you’ll help our partners get their subscription box programs off the ground by building subscription box websites using the Shopify platform as a front-end and our proprietary logistics software as a back-end.

Front-end development - You’ll be accountable for implementing front-end designs for our subscription box program websites from mockups by modifying our Shopify theme with html/css/bootstrap.
Back-end development - You’ll be accountable for implementing the back-end functionality that our subscription box program websites need such as making sure orders are fulfilled properly, allowing users to send gift subscriptions, skip boxes, etc.
Agile processes- You’ll be accountable for helping the group adhere to agile processes in order to increase our level of predictability and productivity.
Systems Development - You’ll be accountable for helping us develop systems and best-practices that will allow us to scale at a high rate of efficiency.

You have at least 2 years of experience as a software developer.
You have an eye for software architecture, knowing how to build something correctly from the beginning to avoid problems down the road.
You are a problem-solver who is positive and resourceful in high-pressure situations.
You are self-motivated and focused, yet have the ability to quickly adapt to change.
You are flexible, understanding that things move quickly in a rapidly-growing company.
Bulu is looking for an experienced Buyer to join the Bulu Crew! If you are an organized individual with a knack for negotiating, this is a position for you. The Buyer/Sourcing Specialist will work directly with our Box Program Directors to source and buy items for our Subscription Box programs—like craft supplies, candles, bobbleheads, t-shirts, clock mechanisms... you name it! Take cues from Box Program Directors on the items necessary for each box program
Identify and procure items within budget and on schedule
Manage multiple RFQs and negotiate pricing with suppliers
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
Create and manage purchase orders, invoices and contracts
Travel and attend trade shows as needed
Experience negotiating with suppliers
Preferred experience in international purchasing
1-3 years Buying or Product Development
Experience sourcing printed materials and managing print production is a plus
Highly organized and can manage a variety of tasks
